How Clear Braille Solutions uses the details you send us through this website.
This whole notice is my draft. UK GDPR requires one because the enquiry form collects personal data. The facts only you can supply are marked as placeholders below. It is a starting point, not legal advice — read it through before it goes live.
Who we are
Clear Braille Solutions is responsible for the personal data you send through this website. For privacy questions, email info@clearbraillesolutions.com.

What we collect
When you use our enquiry form, we collect:
- the name of your organisation and its sector
- your name and email address
- your phone number, if you give it
- what you tell us about your enquiry, and the volume or frequency, if you give it
This website does not use cookies or analytics, and does not collect anything else about your visit.
If you choose a colour setting at the top of the page, your browser remembers that choice on your own device so the next page opens in the same colours. It is never sent to us.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. We do not use them for marketing and we never sell them.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to an organisation that has asked about our services.
Who else handles it
Enquiries are sent through Formspree, Inc., which passes them on to us by email. This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Both companies are based in the United States, so your details may be processed outside the UK. We do not share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Placeholder — retention period. How long you keep an enquiry if it does not turn into work, for example 12 months from your last contact. This is your decision, so I have not set a figure.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your details
- stop or limit how we use them
To make any of these requests, email us at info@clearbraillesolutions.com. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
