Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including blind and partially sighted people. This page explains how accessible it is and how to tell us about a problem.
What you can do on this website
- change the colours to light, dark, or yellow on black, using the Colours setting at the top of every page
- zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen
- use every link, button and form field with a keyboard alone
- navigate with a screen reader using headings, landmarks and labelled form fields
- stop animation by turning on reduced motion in your device settings
- use Windows contrast themes, which the website respects
The standard we aim for
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How we tested it
Every page is checked with automated tools (axe-core and Lighthouse) on a desktop screen and a 320-pixel-wide phone screen, and the enquiry form is checked again while it is showing errors. Automated checks also confirm that every page reflows at 320 pixels, works with text at 200% and with increased text spacing, and that keyboard focus is always visible.
Automated tools find only some accessibility problems, so they are not the whole test.
